Kuźnica. Two shores, one cup.

On the Baltic side, the beach. On the Puck Bay side, the harbour. Kuźnica lies on the Hel Peninsula, between these two shores. This is where our Baltissima story begins. You will find the place in the names of the coffees, in the illustrations and in the photographs. Beyond them is an ordinary table, a bag and a cup. There is room to stay a little longer.

You do not have to travel to the coast to enter this world. Put the bag beside your cup. Look at the boats, cups and figures on the label, then open it and make coffee your way. The place begins this story; the next part happens wherever you brew. In the kitchen, at a desk or across the table from someone else.

The Baltissima shop is operated by Morski Zając sp. z o.o., at ul. Helska 4 in Kuźnica, tax identification number NIP 9542785841. For advice about coffee, an order or a planned visit, use the details on our contact page. Our seaside location and the origin of the beans are two distinct parts of the story: our address is in Kuźnica, while the coffees come from Brazil, India and Ethiopia.

Baltissima’s packaging illustrations were designed by painter and illustrator Maria Helena Brzozowska. Morski Zając credits her in its presentation of the roastery. Cups float above the water on Bursztynowa; trees, figures on wheels and an octopus meet on Sztormowa; Czarna Lufa features a large fish and a clock. These details invite a slower look, much as a new coffee reveals its flavour over several cups.

Bursztynowa

Bursztynowa brings together beans from Brazil and India: Honey Desire 17/18 arabica and Parchment washed AB robusta. Its medium roast and walnut, chocolate, honey and caramel profile suggest a morning cup. Choose it if you enjoy coffee with milk and would also like to try a short espresso. Tasting notes describe sensory impressions; they do not mean that honey, chocolate or nuts have been added to the beans.

Sztormowa

Sztormowa is a Brazilian arabica from Mogiana, described as Santa Barbara, variety Yellow Bourbon. Its medium roast and nut and cocoa notes offer a clear starting point for home brewing. Start with a French press: its metal filter lets through more fine particles than paper, giving a different texture from filter coffee. That difference comes partly from the method, not only the beans. Compare Sztormowa in both brewers using the same water.

Czarna Lufa

Czarna Lufa is an arabica from Kaffa in Ethiopia. The bean description lists Acaia and Yellow Catuai and an altitude of 1650–2000 metres. A medium roast accompanies citrus, floral and dark chocolate notes. Start with a paper-filter brew without milk to compare aroma and flavour as you drink. Try it again after a few minutes as it cools; avoid judging the whole cup from the first hot sip.

Choose whole bean or ground coffee, then your bag size. The selected variant’s price and availability appear beside the buy button. For grinding advice, tell us your brewer model: we will start with how you actually make coffee at home.
